Coca-Cola Theif

2nd May - Hai... sian... got to come back to work! Rested the whole day before now back to work felt more tired.... In the afternoon about 3.30pm that Annie(Bi***) came into Tee's room (New FC) where we were busy discussing about work, out of the blue she said that she need to leave urgently and has inform boss about it. As usual I say ok. Than Lina came in saying why is that bi*** leaving early with a bag of cokes. I did not notice. At least got 10 cans! We gossip "why now got no money even to buy drinks" "tonite got big celebration but cannot afford to buy $10 drinks" So cheap po!!! WE GOT THEIF IN OUR OFFICE! I might just sugest the Boss to install the magnatic panel at the door (does u see at shopping mall) so anyone trying to bring out items its will give out a ring informing everyone. Heehee this was what we were joking about after she left.

Gifts from FC

These are the gifts that my FC bought for us. Nice? The porcelain is hand painted & the Buddha is a candler holder. Thailand has many handicrafts.

The candler holder, Lina & mine got the nicest picture. Lina's is the full body of the Buddha (sitting down). Annie's one look like dancing (she say look eerie) How Wei's is two Buddha dancing, that is what we guess.

Abalone Incident

30th April - This is the last day to submit claims. That Bi**** gave me her petrol claim, $350++. To my surprise there is a receipt of $94++ of 2 cans of abalone (in a single receipt no petrol). I went and show it to her asking is she accidentally mistaken. She just say "oh ya hor..." than I went back to my room. She came back with another receipt of $320++ ....

I went back to her to ask her to remove the expenses that she buy for her own (eg. polar cakes, sweets, air refresher ....) she dare to say " huh change again" I don care just walk off. Back with another receipts, I have to shake my head, the receipts are in the month 0f Nov'07 & Dec'07. Now is already end April more than 4 months bill should not be able to claim. I went to boss to get him sign on the vouchers and show him her claims. He also say all the expenses are not related to the car are not allow to claim, he himself don do that. He say just let her claim those last year bills but no more next time. All bills must fall in the same financial year.

Farewell FC.............!!!!!!

28th Monday - This is his last visit and we will have a farewell dinner at The Song Of India. In the morning I gave him the gift that I bought. He likes it and he also shown it to my boss. (he also want 1). That Bi*** kept reminding my boss that she is not going for the dinner (because she does not like Indian food) he just say OK don even bother. At first she thought is my idea to go there (knowingly she don eat) but I told her is boss who wanted there.

(This ice-cream is highly recommended but you must have a sweet tooth) too creamy for me!

At the dinner - This restaurant is quite posh. We book a private room & invited our auditors. The food is nice. The appetizer taste a bit weird ( like a piece of sponge cake with sour sauce and with herbs yucky...) Luckily the rest of the food taste nice, I like the roast lamb. The whole night my boss talk the most, we just sit back & enjoy the food. Lina told me something shocking, my boss wife ask her for a cigarette (since when she smoke??) Over all the whole night is pleasant. P.S. We spent more than S$1500 on dinner!

The Runaway Child

Last week on thursday about 5 that Bi*** come in my room almost breaking in tears say that the daugther is missing and that she have to leave office earlier to find her. During this time also, she was complaining about how difficlut it is to raise a child, spending much money on them I.E. HP bill, cloths etc.................

I told she to spent more quality time with the kids {must understand Why I say this, she been bragging all this months about the night life[going to bars & clubbing]} So thought this the end of the story but wait (sit back down) next morning story start again. Starting with an SMS i received in the morning saying that she wouldn't be coming to office as the daugther did not come home the night before and now needs to find her. NOW IS WHEN ALL THE DRAMA BEGIN.

25 April, Morning: My Boss back from his trip and heard about this incident.

10.30am: She call the office to inform all that she found the kid in school and that she stay at a friend house Q: What kind of parents does the friend have that they don't bother even to check if it was OK for the kid to stay over. Haiix.

Later in the morning: She call the Boss, and ahhh you can guess what happen. Like all the mistake have been write-off and my boss begin his concern over this incident. Even boss wife was worried for her aand advise to talk not scold or cane the kids.

27 April, Morning: She come to office and all was forgiven and none, and i meant nothing of all her mistake she rudeness to customers, she Queen of the World attitude and best of all playing games chat on MSN in front of other Bosses is not important why no one will say anything to a single mother that the kid have just run away from home.

Lesson to ALL if you make a mistake instant of being scare or trying to run from it DON'T just recrate a story like her and all will and can be forgetten.

FC Farewell Gift

These are the gifts my boss bought in the airport. The necklance is for my FC wife & the pan holder is for him. Both are from RISIS should be expensive I have not see the price yet. Tomorrow we are throwing a farewell dinner for him & so coincident is ther 10th year anniversary. Do you find that the gifts more like for tourist? I don really like it...

This is the gift I buy for him, nice? This is crystal key chain, they use laser to cave the company logo & his name on it. Do you perfer mine?

Audit

As you all know that I am still doing my year end financial audit. Yes still!! It is coming to 1 month and still have not finish. It is very frustrating...



By 4th I already finish my March'08 Accounts for Singapore, Indonesia & Vietnam. All the OT so that we can start do the audit first because on the same day Australia auditors will start to doing the Mar A/C than by 8th they should finish and will e-mail it over and they can do their audit. As schedule by 11th they should finish and e-mail the audit report to us but unfortunately the auditor went to India and came back with allergy and was hospitalize. (Every year Australia auditors always having some problem. Last year she was miscarriage and needed to work from home due to that we rush like mad to meet the deadline and thank God we are still the first among the group to submit first. This year she just gave birth so thought new guy take over should not be a problem...)



On 8th he came back to office but too weak to work, the company sent another auditor to work with him at his home...



On 14th my FC fly in from Thailand just for a day thought that he can help up with my New FC but nothing can be done because Australia still have not sent any reports over. My FC is very angry, say "13th - 15th is Thailand Public Holiday and the Thai colleagues are still working. Every year our financial audit always fall during their New Year but no choice they all have to work. " "We of course concern about his health but due to him all our work is held up, this is not acceptable." "Head office would not be interested to know what happen, they are also very busy. If you can't submit on time they will think that you are in-competent." Worst thing is that we send e-mails & call them they are not replying...



On 18th is the day where we have to submit the reports to my FC for review but due to Australia's accounts having problems we could not send to him. How can the figures don't tally. GL, PL & BS have different figures?? Do adjustment until so messy don't even know what is going on. So we ask head office to extent the deadline. My New FC even thought of flying over to see what are they doing.



On 21st is the day whereby the reports should be finalize and should be sent out for all director's signature. But Australia reports still not yet ready so ask head office again to extent till next Monday.



On 24th Australia should be finalize but we waited till 4pm (their time should be around 6pm) still nothing. They still got the cheek to say tomorrow is their public holiday so only Monday can give us the report. We even plan to work OT throughout the week and they can say is their public holiday!! What kind of attitude is this!!! Me & my auditors say don even know by Monday the accounts can be complete. This is the first time we never meet our deadline, we are also the first to submit. Can't blame my FC for being so angry this is his last audit and this is happening... Let's keep our fingers cross and wait for Monday.
